MLMUG's Appointed Officers | |
MLMUG is a volunteer based organization. It is the volunteers who make the group succeed and thrive. We are very blessed with the experience and expertise of our Board Members. They manage, run, and promote all the activities within the User Group. Below are some of the contributors who help make MLMUG the best User Group on the Main Line. Their work is behind or in front of everything, which keeps MLMUG running throughout the year. |
This is a work-in-progress and bios are still being added. Do not infer anything if a bio is missing.

New Users SIG |
Michael LeWitt | |
Mike has been a member of MLMUG since 1992. In 1994, he initiated the New Users SIG to help those who were new to the Macintosh to get their questions answered in an environment which was not overwhelming. Several years later, and with the continued assistance of Bob Barton, he initiated a second meeting devoted to New Users. Mike bought his first Mac, a Mac Plus, in 1986, and has been an avid user, along with his entire family, since that time. He estimates that his family has purchased at least 20 Macs so far. His license plate is "Mac Uzer" as Mac User was taken. When he is not on his Mac, he practices emergency medicine, reads, listens to music and collects. His nickname of "Doctor Mike" was derived from MLMUG. Doctor Mike lives with his family in Berwyn. |

Genealogy SIG, Past President, Past Newsletter Editor |
Craig TenBroeck | |
Craig is a lifelong resident of the area. He received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University and for 11 years was a migrant worker following the government contracts from Honeywell through Burroughs and finally to the GE Space Division in Valley Forge. While at GE, he and a friend started a printing business in Bala Cynwyd. This was fortuitous as he was laid off in 1969. He bought out his partner and ran the business until he retired in 2000. It was here that he first became involved with MacIntosh computers which he used to set type as well as keeping the books. He has owed many Mac models: 128K, MacPlus, SE, IIci, 7200, G4, iMac & iBook. He was one of the founders of MLMUG and has served as President and as the Newsletter Editor. Presently he is the facilitator of the Genealogy SIG. |
