There's an explosion of iPod protective covers by third party manufacturers.
They all compete in quality and design for every iPod model.
The ribbed iPod Tuffwrap from XtremeMac for the 60GB iPod with video is
classy. It is a case made of a soft durable silicone that protects the iPod
completely with excellent grip that keeps it from sliding off surfaces. The
case includes a screen protector and a play-through Click Wheel protector,
which some competitors omit.
I also liked the TuffWrap 3-Pack for the 30GB iPod with video. The colors I
got to review were orange, green, and gray — not my favorite colors but they
are rich and dress up the iPod nicely.
XtremeMac claims to be the iPod Xperts and do sport a variety of
accessories, including cool iPod covers personalized with your favorite
baseball team or pop icon. They also make other types of accessories for the
iPod like the Tango, a full-featured speaker system, as well as cases,
audio, and so on. You might find it interesting to check the entire line.
