"Lake Temagami Sunset"
By Frank Hartzell

Stan says:
The title of this picture is "Lake Temagami Sunset" and it was shot with a Canon PowerShot SD550 by Frank Hartzell at his property on an Island in Northern Ontario. Of this photo, Frank said,

Description, in Frank's words:
"For the last 40 plus years we've spent several weeks every summer at our island retreat on a large, beautiful lake in Ontario about 60 miles north of North Bay. The lake has well over a thousand islands and several thousand miles of shoreline what with its multiple arms, bays, coves, etc. Some islands are not much more than the size of your living room while others are several square miles in area. Our island is close to a square mile; we own an acre or so on the western side on which are a main cabin, three sleeping cabins, a boat house, and various small associated structures, There is only one other inhabitant on the island - at the far other side. Access to the island is via a 20 minute boat ride from a landing which is reached via a 12 mile unpaved road off the main highway.

The sunsets are often spectacular.
