"The Hungarian National Gallery Dome"

Background:

This photo of the dome in the Hungarian National Gallery in Budapest was taken in May 2006. The National Gallery is located in the Buda Castle, built between 1247 and 1265. The beautiful modernist dome was designed by Lajos Hidasi in 1961 as part of a grand scale reconstruction of the castle.
