Street of Yesteryear Submitted by Marian Berray Marian Berray reported that her rental 2012 GMC Terrain seems to be parked on a "street of yesteryear" in historic Ashland, Wisconsin, a port town on Lake Superior (population about 8,200). Ashland is known for its Mural Walk in the downtown area. The "Storefront Mural" is one of its many large murals depicting Ashland's history. The 8 block Main Street business district is listed on the National Register of Historic places. (Two Ashland artists have painted all the murals, and a new one is being painted in 2013, depicting the huge oredock, which is being torn down.)
