![]() By Susan Sheridan Susan says: In August of 2005, I took my eleven year-old grandson to visit the butterfly house exhibit at Tyler Arboretum in Media. We saw many different species flying and feasting on the beautiful flowers. In the center was a waterfall and pond surrounded by a rock garden. We enjoyed the educational "stations" that displayed the different stages from caterpillar to butterfly. Most of all, we enjoyed these beautiful creatures sitting on our fingers, shoulders, and heads. This particular butterfly seemed to prefer this flower. Maybe it knew just how beautiful it looked sitting on the red and yellow colors. This photo was taken with my Sony DSC-W1 using the macro setting. I took many more pictures that day, and it was difficult to select just one to share. They are so amazing! Technical Specs:
