Old Reliable Word Processing Hardware

Do you remember carbon paper, correction tape, typewriter erasers, ink ribbons? They were necessary components of a word processing system anchored by a device called a typewriter.

Our attic is a storehouse of old stuff. Here is one of the "treasures" that we discovered in 2006 — a Remington Rand upright manual typewriter. I took this photo before we discarded it.
