Getting a new iPod is an exciting experience. We know that the next thrill is to dress it up with good-looking accessories, and Griffin has always made elegant and durable products for iPods. Well, it was time to search for a cover for my new iPod touch. I found the new Reflect Mirrored case at their website and it looked very classy.
The Griffin Reflect Mirrored case made my iPod touch a bit bulky and heavier. I also didn't like the way I have to reach deeply to get to the power button. Applying the transparent screen protector took the longest time because It has to be precisely placed within the confines of the screen. Just a little off will give you an air bubble on the sides marring your beautiful screen. It took me about half an hour and many tries to get it right. Using a credit card while applying the transparent protective plastic does the trick for getting the air bubbles out. You also have to have a perfectly dust-free environment. Little specs of white dust kept getting trapped between the cover and the iPod touch and had to be removed. At one point I wanted to give up but wanted to protect the screen from scratches, so I persevered until I got it right. Now my iPod touch is totally protected but still retains its beauty.
This case protects the entire iPod and is sure to keep it in a pristine condition during its lifetime of giving pleasure. If you don't like a bulky iPod, this is not for you.
